Students are going back to school this month. This year, school will be face to face, although some schools are doing a "blended classes", which means that they may have take home modules as well, and that they will go to school only 2 times a week.

There are many requirements, and this makes it hard for families. Notebooks, writing utensils, uniform & bags. If you would like to give a special donation for this, please reach out to us, or visit our website.

One of the things that makes Kairos special is what we call "the Kairos Commitments." These are the
Ten Commitments ("10 Pasalig") or "the covenant" that all Kairos kids and families agree to. Although it's not new, we have started to emphasize them more again. You may take a look at this on our website.

We are so proud of our scholars. Maybe sometime I will have the time to talk to each one of you about them, but let me highlight one in particular.

Eda Mae Omotong is a senior high school student who is very active in church. She is part of the worship team and she loves to serve in the church. She was a teacher during the recent kids camp, which many Kairos Kids joined.
Eda recently joined a leadership training that was hosted by YWAM for our district. She really enjoyed the training and said that she learned a lot from it. Currently, besides the worship team, she is part of the Sunday school teaching staff and the youth servant core.

The two kids below are just a highlight of those waiting to be sponsored.

Niña Mae Alanano, on the left, is a young girl who just found Christ. She is 13 years old and comes from a troubled family, but despite that she loves her family very much. Niña is a bright and respectful girl.
John Lay Francisco, on the right, is an orphan who was taken in by his aunt. He is the cousin of Joy Francisco, and they live in the same household. Nevertheless, life is hard for him, since he does not enjoy the same privileges' as Joy. He is a good student, loves athletics, and is polite.

If you would like to sponsor, or you know someone who would, please send Andrew Scribner message.

We depend on the generosity of our sponsors. Would you consider helping us spread the news about Kairos Children's Fund? If you want to become a "Kairos Ambassador," send me a message (click the blue messenger icon on the website or simply the contact details below.)

We are still raising money for a vehicle. We have found a second-hand van that is around $3,000, and we have so far raised half of that.
